Regrettably, after much consideration and prayer, MAI-Europe has decided to CANCEL MediaFest2020 on 9-11th September 2020 and all training events during 2020 that require travel.
Although many countries in Europe are attempting to open borders and ease restrictions, Covid-19 is still ever-present and the risk of a second wave as restrictions are eased remains a major concern.
MAI-Europe has a duty of care not to put at risk the health of delegates despite the disappointment of not meeting in reality. MediaFest2020 will still be part of a future programme in Europe but for now, this season presents a wonderful opportunity to explore new ways for on-line trainings in 2020 and beyond for encouragement, fellowship and prayer.
For example, on July 14th at 6 pm Central Europe Time, we are hosting an on-line MAI-Europe Prayer Concert for Europe with updates and worship lead by many from across Europe. We will send out registration links soon so please make a diary note to join us.
European SpringStream2020 our first mini-conference for Christian content creators was launched successfully earlier in June. You can watch the six sessions on YouTube. We are preparing a new exciting training project that will be launched soon. The heart of it will be our YouTube channel. So please subscribe and if we get 100+ subscribers, we can better brand our YouTube channel for future trainings. Please help us to achieve this, visit and subscribe to this link even if you had already attended the live stream event!
Undoubtedly you will have questions about the cancellation of MediaFest2020, particularly those already committed to travel and registration costs. If for some reason you have not received our cancellation email, please contact us through the website or email before JULY 24. Hopefully, the following will be an appropriate response to your immediate concerns.
Travel Costs:
If you have already registered and paid travel costs you might consider:
a) Contact your airline who may refund most of the costs for early cancellation.
b) If you have travel insurance, contact your insurer.
c) If you are unable to recover your costs, contact us by email. Each personal situation will be considered on a case by case basis.
Accommodation Costs:
We have notified all hotels about the cancellation of MediaFest2020 but each delegate should still cancel their reservations directly with the hotel to avoid unexpected last-minute cancellation charges.
Registration Fees:
You might like to consider one of the following options for re-investing your registration fee in a productive way! Tick the relevant box with your decision. If we do not hear from you by 24th July 2020, your registration fee will be refunded to the payee by 31st July 2020.

□ Sponsor a first-timer European to attend LittWorld 2021
□ Donate to MAI-Europe for developing new technology for on-line training, fellowship and events.
□ Return full refund of your registration fee to the payee.
Scholarship Applications:
All scholarships approved will have any pre-booked travel charges reimbursed if the costs cannot be reclaimed from the supplier. All scholarships given for MediaFest2020 are automatically available for attending LittWorld 2022 at your request. Please see the checklist below.
