Svetlana Karoleva

Svetlana Karoleva has been an editor and translator with Mission Possible Bulgaria since its founding in 1991. Prior to that, she was an editor at Bulgaria’s largest secular publishing house. For 23 years she has served as editorial director of all Mission Possible publications, including 42 issues of Friends teen magazine, 70 issues of the quarterly Leah women’s magazine, and more than 60 books, manuals, and resources, including the newly revised edition of the Bible (2002). Since 2006, she has led the writing ministry at Mission Possible, nurturing local authors, organizing writer workshops, and running the Christian Writer Club.
Ramon Rocha III is director of publisher development at Media Associates International (MAI). He leads MAI training to strengthen national Christian publishing in underserved areas of the world. As former CEO of OMF Literature in the Philippines from 1997 to 2008, he led it to become one of the nation’s largest Christian publishing houses. He authored MAI’s latest resource book Profit & Purpose, a Global Publisher’s Guide for Financial Sustainability Third Edition (2022).

Janet Wilson

Janet Wilson is the head and founder of Dernier Publishing, which she started when she noticed a lack of fun novels for her own children and youth club kids, written from a Christian perspective. Janet also runs a popular and fun resource for Christians new to writing fiction for kids and teens, called Write for a Reason, and is a author herself, as well as one of MAI-Europe trustees.
Vlady Raichinov is a freelance translator of fiction and theological literature. He was ordained as Bible teacher and preacher at First Baptist Church, Sofia, in December, 2014. A member of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists, he sits on the editorial committee of “Zornitsa” newspaper, the oldest monthly publication in Bulgaria since 1876. Currently, he serves as president of the Bulgarian Evangelical Society, and as vice president of the Bulgarian Evangelical Alliance. He also heads a publishing house called “Beginning of Wisdom”. Vlady and his wife Katya parent an amazing daughter named Maria.

Anna Shirochenskaya

Anna Shirochenskaya has 25 years of Christian publishing experience in Russia. She’s an author, professional translator, and radio presenter. Holds degrees in economics, finance, and translation. She’s Mai-Europe Vice President. Presently lives in Spain with her husband.
Arie de Pater, EEA’s Brussels Representative since May 2017, has taken on a new role as the European Representative of the IIRF. An alumnus of Wageningen University, during his 12 years with Open Doors International, Arie worked in the capacity of Director Advocacy, and has worked closely with the UN Team of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA).
